In all instances, you will need:

• to be an Australian citizen
• have relevant qualifications - Certificate IV in Govt, Personnel Security – Vetting, (tertiary qualifications will receive favourable consideration in any application)
• have relevant experience in vetting, or at a minimum, in life experiences (eg former police, intelligence, investigations etc)
• to either hold a current security clearance or be eligible to be granted a security clearance with the Commonwealth (which will include a criminal history check, an ASIO assessment, financial probity check (bankruptcy) and other checking actions)
